You can export lines and virtual lines (or parts thereof) to text data files.
You can choose between two file formats:

Exports line data using Echoview's line definition format. Data exported in this format can be modified in external applications and re-imported into Echoview. See Line definition file format for more information. Note: This file format is labelled as Echoview format (for reimport) on the Export line dialog box. |

Exports detailed line data to a .csv file. Data exported in this format cannot be re-imported into Echoview. See Bathymetric data export files for more information. Note: This file format is labelled as CSV format (bathymetric data) on the Export line dialog box. |
To export an entire line:
On the Echogram menu, point to Export, and then click Line.
Complete the Export line dialog box.
Click Export.
Enter a file name and choose a folder for the export file, and then click Save.
To export part of a line.

On the Shortcut (right-click) menu, point to Export Selection, and then click Line.
Complete the Export line dialog box.
Click Export.
