Exporting to Eonfusion

Echoview echogram data can be exported to Eonfusion for advanced spatial-temporal visualization and analysis with other diverse data.

Echoview processing and analysis

Figure 1: Echoview Sv echogram and single target detection echogram

The left echogram shows Simrad Ex60 Sv data with:

  • a surface line
  • a bottom line pick
  • regions resulting from several schools detections (outlined in black)

The right echogram shows a single target detection variable with the data from the schools masked out.

Echoview can export Sv and single target data to Eonfusion.

Eonfusion visualization and data fusion

Figure 2: Eonfusion visualization of data (from Figure 1) exported from from Echoview. View objects in time and space with Eonfusion visualizers for the cruise track, Sv curtain, cells analysis and single targets.

Figure 3: Eonfusion visualization of school data (blue areas with green spheres) and single target data (red spheres).

For export instructions and information about settings for data and variables refer to the Export to Eonfusion dialog box.

Georeferenced samples can also be exported by Echoview. This can be useful when viewing related single beam and multibeam data. View a video of ME70 single beam and multibeam data displayed in Eonfusion for an example of the display of such data.
