The Import 3D Raster Image dialog box and 3D Raster Image Properties dialog boxes are identical.

Displays the name and path of the raster image file you are importing. |

Enter a name for the image. This name will be displayed on the Objects page of the Scene Properties dialog box. |

Transparent color |
If the raster image includes areas that should be transparent in the scene, select this check box and select the color that was used in the raster image to represent transparent areas. Note: This setting cannot be changed if the original file is deleted or moved. |
Note: To view the imported raster image as a standalone 3D object you must add it to a scene. If you are using the raster image to color a surface you do not need to add it to scene, but will need to change the color properties of the surface.
