New Virtual Line dialog box

The New Virtual Line dialog box is used to select an operator to create a new virtual line.

To display the New Virtual Line dialog box:

1. On the toolbar, click the Line draw tool , then click New then Virtual Line.

   
   -OR-

2. On the Shortcut (right-click) menu of the Dataflow window, click New then Virtual Line.

To create a new virtual line:

1. In the Name box, enter a name for the new variable.
2. In the Operator group list, select the group that includes the required operator.
3. In the Operator list, select an operator. Enter text into Filter to display operator matches to the filter text.
4. Click OK
5. Make your selections for the virtual line on the Line Properties dialog box.
6. Click OK
