The Target Class Properties dialog box is used to create and edit target classes that are applied by the Target classification tool
to multibeam targets. Refer to Target properties from multibeam data for more information.
To display the Target Class Properties dialog box:

Enter a name for the Target class. |
|
Notes |
Use this box to enter additional information you would like to record about the species. |
Notes:
Target classes applied to a target are associated with a specific 'relative transducer location' and time setting on an echogram, not with the identified target. If you classify your targets, and then subsequently change your target detection settings, or source data time or geometry, your targets will change location, but the measurements and class labels will not.
New and existing EV files will contain Target class: Unclassified, to which all targets will initially be assigned.
