Bottom_line_depth_mean

Bottom_line_depth_mean (m) is a bottom feature that may be extracted during bottom classification. A Bottom_line_mean_depth analysis variable can be selected under Bottom on the Export page of the EV File Properties dialog box. It can be included with onscreen analyses and exported.

Bottom_line_depth_mean represents the mean depth of the Bottom line in the Feature extraction interval for a bottom classification.

Bottom point number j is assigned sequentially in time. Each bottom point is associated with a set of pings defined by the value for the Feature extraction interval.

Ping i in the Feature extraction interval for bottom point j.

Bottom_line_depth i

Depth of the Bottom line at ping i in the Feature extraction interval for bottom point j.

=
The number of pings as specified by the Feature extraction interval for bottom point j.
