About vessel log data

Vessel logs are raw distance data collected by some echosounders.

Echoview can derive vessel log data from supported data files. Duplicate vessel log measurements or measurements that have out of sequence time stamps or distances are not used by Echoview.

The Distance section of the Platform Properties dialog box can use vessel logs. Vessel log data can be exported as an text file from a displayed Table.
