Raw variables derived from text data files

This page describes the variables that Echoview can derive from Text data files. These conform to the UTF-8 character encoding system.

Single beam, split beam and dual beam acoustic data files

Boolean data (*.boolean.csv)

Echoview can derive the following variable from text encoded boolean data files:

  • Boolean comma-separated values

Sv data (*.sv.csv)

Echoview can derive the following variable from text encoded Sv data files:

  • Sv comma-separated values

TS data (*.ts.csv)

Echoview can derive the following variable from text encoded TS data files:

  • TS comma-separated values

Angular position data (.angles.csv)

Echoview can derive the following variable from text encoded angular position data files:

  • angular position comma-separated values

Linear data (*.linear.csv)

Echoview can derive the following variable from text encoded linear data files:

Single beam target data (*.target.csv)
