Raw variables derived from BlueView data files
Echoview can derive the following raw variables from BlueView .son data files.
- Sv frames
- Sv frames (Head 2)
- unspecified dB frames
- unspecified dB frames (Head 2)
- position GPS
- heading data
- roll data
- pitch data
The unspecified dB pings variable contains signal intensities stored in the data file. The Sv pings variable contains Sv data derived for these intensities as described in Multibeam Magnitudes to Sv. You must enter calibration settings for the Sv pings variable before using this variable for quantitative analyses.
