New for Navico Group Lowrance users

This page summarizes the new features, improvements and other changes that have been implemented in Echoview 16 which specifically affect the use of data from Navico Lowrance sonars.

Pulse duration support from .sl2 and .sl3 files

Echoview now reads and applies BurstLength values (pulse duration, in microseconds) stored in Lowrance .sl2 and .sl3 files. When present, these values are converted to milliseconds and automatically applied to the Calibration of raw variables. Files that do not contain BurstLength (e.g., some older .sl2 logs) report a value of 0, and Echoview will ignore the field in those cases.
