New for users of data from BlueView imaging sonars

This page summarizes the new features, improvements and other changes that have been implemented in Echoview 4.60 which specifically affect the use of data from BlueView imaging sonars.

Performance improvements

• Echoview's *.son file reading performance has been significantly improved, so that you can start viewing and analyzing data faster.
• Enhancements to selected data manipulation and multibeam operators mean that the display of Blueview multibeam target detection data is faster.

EVI files for Blue view data

Use the Shortcut key P to pre-read BlueView data files (right to the end). This process creates an EVI file that speeds up subsequent access to your BlueView data.
