Exporting scenes
You can export an entire scene or individual 3D objects from a scene to the VRML world format (*.wrl). This is an accepted standard format for representing 3D scenes and these files can be viewed using a supported VRML viewer outside of Echoview.

To export a scene
To export a scene from Echoview:

Open the scene in Echoview. See Using scenes for information on the management of Echoview scenes.

On the Scene menu, click Export then Scene...

In the Files of type list, click a format.

Choose a folder and enter a name for the export file.

Click Save.

If you chose the TIFF, GeoTIFF or JPEG format, complete the Export Scene to Image File dialog box.

Echoview scenes may be exported to a file of any of the following types:

Notes:

To export a scene, each component of the scene must meet individual Echoview module license requirements. See Licenses and demonstration mode for more information.

Only objects that are visible in the scene (have a valid time overlapping with the scene time window) will be exported.
