View Properties dialog box

The View Properties dialog box is used to display and change the properties of the current view in the Dataflow window.

To display the View Properties dialog box:

Settings

Description

Name

Enter a name for the view

Theme

Name of theme for Dataflow window object color and shape.

Available themes include:

Show new objects on this view

Select the type(s) of new objects you want to be added automatically to this view when they are created.

Relationship type

Choose which type of relationship to display between objects in the view.

The Line usage relationship displays the view with colored arrows and arrow labels between objects, based on line usage.

The Standard relationship displays the view with colored arrows between objects, based on the operand data type.

When objects change availability

Sets the view behaviour for when objects change their availablity.

Setting	Description
Do nothing	Do not update the view.
Show available/Hide unavailable	Update the view so that: available new objects are shown unavailable new objects are hidden
Hide available/Show unavailable	Update the view so that: available new objects are hidden unavailable new objects are shown
