Raw variables derived from Sonic data files

Sonic echosounder data files (.050, .100, .200 and .FS3)

Echoview can derive the following raw variables from Sonic KFC-500 (*.050), KFC-1000 and -3000 (*.100), KFC-2000 (*.200) and KFS (*.FS3) data files:

• angular position pings (w beam)
• Sv pings SIGn (w beam)
• position GPS fixes
• line data sounder detected bottom (w beam)

Sonic KFC-6000/KSE-300 echosounder data files (.200)

Echoview can derive the following raw variables from Sonic KFC-6000/KSE-300 (*.200) data files:

• angular position split beam pings Tn
• Sv single beam pings Tn
• Sv split beam pings Tn
• TS single beam pings Tn
• TS split beam pings Tn
• position GPS fixes
• heading data
• line data sounder detected bottom Tn
• Power dB single beam pings Tn
• Power dB split beam pings Tn

Where:

w = beam width (narrow or wide)
n = channel number
