Surfaces page
The Surfaces page of the Variable Properties dialog box is used to select which surfaces are visible (only the intersection with the surface will be visible).

Visible surface intersections |
All surfaces in the EV file are listed. Only the surfaces that are selected will be displayed on this echogram and only if they intersect with the visible ping. |
Active surface |
Specifies an active surface selected from a (detected) surface list. The active surface is displayed as a 2 pixel intersection on a multibeam echogram. Note: A surface intersection may not be available for pings where a surface is not detected. |
