Multiple time series graph

The Multiple time series graph displays line plots of values against time for one or more time series in a time series collection.

The Graph Properties dialog box is used to select the time series to display and specify custom labels and fixed limits.

To display a Multiple time series graph:

  1. In the Dataflow window, right-click a time series collection variable.
  2. On the shortcut menu, click Graph, Multiple Time Series.

The graph displays the time series currently selected for the collection. To change the selection, right-click the graph, click Graph Properties, then select or clear individual time series or data type groups. If no time series are selected, the graph displays No time series selected.

Each selected time series is displayed as a line on the graph. A legend below the graph identifies each time series and its corresponding color. When the selected time series do not share a time series type or unit, the default Y-axis label is Value. To show or hide the legend, right-click the graph and click Graph Legend.

Point to a line to display the time series name, timestamp, and value.

The selected time series are retained when the graph is closed and reopened and when the EV file is saved and reopened.
