Viewing region inspection data in OpenQVis

OpenQVis is a freeware 3D Viewer which can read the volume data set files produced when inspecting regions.

To view a volume data set in OpenQVis:

1. Run OpenQVis.
2. On the File menu, click Open.
3. Select the folder in which you saved the volume data set files.
4. Under File type select Volume Data set (*.dat).
5. Select a file and click OK.

OpenQVis has many features which influence the rendering of the volume data set and provide internal views of the data. Help has not been implemented (yet) by its authors, and is beyond the scope of this help file. We recommend experimenting with its many options.
