GeoTIFF File Interpretation dialog box
The GeoTIFF File Interpretation dialog box is displayed only if you import a GeoTIFF file which has incomplete GeoTIFF tags. If Echoview does not find all the tags it needs in the GeoTIFF file it will prompt you for the missing information.

File name |
Displays the path and filename of the GeoTIFF file. The table below the File name box lists the X and Y coordinates for each corner of the image. |
Datum |
Describes the latitude/longitude coordinate system used to generate the image. This is currently fixed as WGS 84. |
Projection |
Describes the projection system used to generate the image. This is currently fixed as UTM. |
Units |
Displays the reference size for pixels in the image. This is currently fixed as Meters. |
Zone |
The Zone number box and hemisphere options are used to identify the zone in which the reference coordinates contained in the GeoTIFF file are located. |
Skip |
Click this button to ignore the georeferencing information in the GeoTIFF file and manually enter all positioning information on the Import 3D Raster Image dialog box. |
Coordinate interpretation |
Choose an option to determine whether the center or corner of the corner pixels should be located at the reference coordinates. |
