The Import HTI Tracked Echo File  dialog box is displayed if you are importing HTI Tracked Echo files (see Importing HTI .ech files).

Description

Transducer

Defines the transducer which will be used to convert the range of each tracked echo into a depth in Echoview.

Importing the tracked echoes will create fish track regions in Echoview. Regions in Echoview are stored in time/depth coordinates. The echoes in an HTI .ech file are stored in time/range coordinates. The location and orientation of the transducer is used in translating range to depth.

Single target thickness source

Defines which of the pulse lengths is used to determine the displayed height of single targets in Echoview (see Single target display).

Each echo stored in a .ech file has four received pulse lengths associated with it. They are the transmitted pulse length, and the received pulse length at 3dB, 6dB, or 9dB below peak. See Single target pulse properties.

Single target thickness factor

Used to determine the displayed height of single targets in Echoview (see Single target display)
