Extract Transmission Characteristic
This operator extracts a variable for a nominated statistic and component of the active transducer transmission characteristic data. The transmission impedance of a transducer may vary from the manufacturer's measured value due to physical or environmental changes at or near the transducer.

Extract Transmission Characteristic
Select a Statistic from the list:
- Impedance Median
- Calculates the median of the selected Component data.
- Impedance Interquartile range
- Calculates the interquartile range of the selected Component data.
- Impedance Maximum
- Determines the maximum impedance for the selected Component data.
Select the Component for the Statistic calculation:
- Transducer
- Statistics for the whole transducer are an aggregate of values from all pings within all sectors.
- Sector number
- Statistics for the transducer sector are an aggregate of values from all pings within the specified sector.
Notes:
- The Extract transmission characteristic statistics are different from the statistics displayed on the Transducer Diagnostics section of Simrad EK80 acquisition software.
