About 3D single targets
A 3D single targets object is a type of 3D object which represents a collection of single targets in four dimensional space. A 3D single targets object consists of one or more 3D points each of which represents a single target. Each 3D single targets object is a member of a 3D single targets group.
You create 3D single targets group objects from a selection on a single target echogram or a whole echogram. To view 3D single targets groups you must add them to a scene. To view or change (where accessible) 3D single targets or 3D single targets group properties you must use the 3D Object properties dialog box.
3D single target groups can be exported as VRML world files.
A 3D single targets object is represented on a scene as a collection of spheres. The Target Radius and color of all the spheres in a 3D single targets group is specified on the Display page of the 3D object properties dialog box. Only spheres in the current scene time window are displayed.
The image to the right shows a 3D single targets object consisting of 189 3D points, each of which represents a single target. The scene time window has been extended to display all the 3D objects - it can be restricted to display only those targets detected in a certain time window.
