Movies

Movies allows you to record individual navigation movements within 3D scenes and 3D single targets graphs, and then play them back as a movie.

Record Movie

To start recording a movie while navigating, do one of the following:

  • On the Scene or Graph menu, click Record Movie, or
  • Press CTRL+R

    Note:
    Recording is displayed in the bottom right corner. While this is displayed, all 3D navigation of the scene or graph will be recorded.

To stop recording the movie, do one of the following:

  • On the Scene or Graph menu, click Record Movie, or

  • Press CTRL+R, or

  • Click Recording in the bottom right corner of the Scene or Graph window.

The movie is saved to the EV file and can be played any number of times until a new movie is recorded. At present, only one movie per scene or graph is saved to an EV file. If you wish to have more than one movie per scene, it is possible to create a copy of the scene with the Dataflow window and record a second movie in the newly created scene.

Play Movie

To play the current recorded movie, do one of the following:

  1. On the Scene or Graph menu, click Play Movie, or
  2. Press CTRL+P.

Playing is displayed at the bottom right corner of the window during movie playback.

The movie will play in a continuous loop until you stop playing.

To stop playing the movie, do one of the following:

  • On the Scene or Graph menu, click Play Movie,
    • Press CTRL+P, or
    • click Playing in the bottom right corner of the Scene or Graph window
