Threshold Response Graph Properties dialog box

The Threshold Response graph properties dialog box is used to configure the Threshold Response graph.

To display the Threshold Response graph properties dialog box:

  1. On the Graph menu, click Graph properties
    - OR -
    On the Threshold Response graph, on the Shortcut menu (right-click) click Properties
    - OR -
    On the Threshold Response graph, press F8

The Threshold Response graph properties dialog box has the following sections:

On the graph, use Shortcut menu, Graph Legend to toggle the display of the data legend.

Variables section

The Variables section displays variables in the EV file that can be used with the Threshold Response graph.

Select the variable(s) you want to display on the Threshold Response graph. Click Move Up or Move Down to move a selected variable in the list (this affects the graph legend).

Note: Using thresholded data with the Threshold Response graph is not recommended. A selected variable's data thresholds can be removed on the Data page of the Variable properties dialog box.

Steps section

The Steps section allows you to specify the number of NASC results (m2/nmi2) per variable that are to be calculated.

Note: The performance of the Threshold response graph is related to the number of variables and Steps selected.

Custom labels and Fixed limits

Threshold Response graph additional settings: Variables, Steps, Graph legend (see above).

The X-axis displays of the threshold Sv values (dB re 1m2/m3). Default limits are based by the Color display minimum and Color display range on the Echogram Display page of the Variable properties dialog box.

The Y-axis displays NASC values. Default values are determined by Echoview such that all the calculated NASC values can be displayed.
