Coloring a surface using a raster image
This is an experimental feature that allows you to color a surface using a raster image. The raster image is overlayed on the surface and follows the contours of the surface. The resulting color of the surface is a blend of the raster image colors and the color applied to the surface.
Note: This feature is in the early stages of development and the quality of results may vary. This feature has been included mainly for evaluation purposes, please contact Echoview support with feedback, to report bugs, or to discuss your requirements.
Before you begin
You must have done the following before attempting to color a surface using a raster image:
- added the surface to the EV file (see creating a surface or importing a surface), and
- imported the raster image into the EV file.
