Exporting multibeam bottom preview samples
The multibeam surface detection algorithm is used to detect a bottom surface. The settings that produce the export data are specific to the EV file. You can preview the bottom samples used for surface detection and tune the surface detection settings for your data.
Multibeam bottom preview sample data can be exported to .csv files. The export can be for an entire echogram or a specified ping range.
- Display a multibeam echogram, under Echogram menu point to Export and click Multibeam Bottom Preview Samples...
- On the export dialog box, specify the Export options.
- Click Export...
Multibeam bottom preview samples file format (*.bottom.mb.csv)
The first line of the .csv file lists the variables that are exported (these will be used as column headings if the file is loaded into a spreadsheet program). Each subsequent line contains the value for each variable for a single ping.
The preview data represents surface-ping intersections under the (bottom) surface detection settings.
The following data are exported.
