About length data

A length variable is derived from length data added to a fileset. The variable can be used to represent varying length tow line data and may be used with a Towed body data.

What is affected by length data?

• Towed body time offset variables adjust towed body depth lines so that they can be displayed at the correct time on associated echograms.
• Media position page for Media variables (image and video) displayed on the Media window. This enables towed body media to be synchronized with associated echogram data.
