Integrating a region

You can integrate 2D regions on echograms or 3D regions on scenes. Refer to the about integration page for an introduction to integrating in Echoview.

Integrating a 2D region on an echogram

To integrate a 2D region on an Sv echogram:

  1. Click on the region to be integrated ("Analysis" or "Marker" regions only).

  2. On the Shortcut menu (right-click), click Integrate Region.

  3. The results of the integration are displayed on the Region Integration dialog box.

Notes:

Integrating a 3D region on a scene

To integrate a 3D region on a scene:

  1. Prepare the scene for analysis.
You must associate an Sv variable with the scene and choose an algorithm. Visit the Analysis page of the Scene properties dialog box to define these settings. The default setting is None which will produce no integration results!

  2. In the scene window, position the mouse pointer over the 3D region to be integrated.

  3. On the Shortcut menu (right-click), click Integrate Region

  4. The results of the integration are displayed on the 3D Region integration results dialog box.

Notes: It is also possible to export analyses of all 3D regions displayed in scene.
