Deleting regions

Regions can be deleted on:

To delete fish track regions from a single beam echogram see Editing fish tracks.

Delete one region

To delete a single 2D region from a single beam echogram:

  1. Select the region to be deleted.

  2. On the Shortcut menu (right-click), click Delete Region

- OR -

  1. Press the DELETE key.

You can undo this deletion as follows:

  1. Click the Undo Undo button

    - OR -
  2. Press CTRL+Z.

To delete a single 3D region from a multibeam echogram:

  1. Select the region to be deleted.

  2. On the Shortcut menu (right-click), click Delete Selected Region - OR - press the DELETE key.

Note: Before deleting, use the Region browser to find specific information about the 3D region.

Deleting multiple regions

To delete multiple regions (including fish track regions) from an echogram:

  1. Use any rectangular selection tool to enclose the regions to be deleted.

  2. On the Shortcut menu (right-click), click Delete Regions in Selection (CTRL+X)

    All regions entirely within the bounds of the selection will be deleted, with the exception of fish track regions which are deleted if the right most (latest) point in the region is within the selection.

You can undo these deletions as follows:

  1. Click the Undo Undo button

  1. Press CTRL+Z
