About tables
Tables allow you to view and export the details of supported acoustic data, position, attitude, distance, line, length, speed and bottom points variables in Echoview.
The following tables are available:
- Acoustic data
- Bottom classification data
- Heading data
- Length data
- Line data
- Pitch data
- Position GPS fixes
- Roll data
- Speed data
- Transect group
- Vessel logs
Table | Availability |
Available for a supported acoustic variable and includes:

Available for a bottom points variable. Each line will contain data for a bottom classification and can include:

Available for a heading variable. Each line in the table will contain the following data for a single heading determination:

Available for line variables. Each line in the table may contain the following data for a single time/depth line coordinate:

Double-click a transect group object to open the transect group table. Each row in the table defines a transect:
Echoview includes the above fields in the *.transect.csv export. Right-click to open the shortcut menu for options to:

Available for a vessel log variable. Each line in the table will contain the following data for a single vessel log determination:

To view a table:
- Select the variable in the raw variables section of the Filesets window.
- Click Table.
- OR -
- On the View menu, point to Table.
- Click the relevant variable.
- OR -
- On the Dataflow window, click a variable and use Shortcut menu > Table.
To export data associated with a Table:
- Export to CSV
- Export to Matlab
- Export to Echoview Data File Format
- Export Complex to Matlab
Tip
Display a table next to the relevant cruise track or echogram. Double-click a table row to view the corresponding data point on the cruisetrack or echogram.
