Printing echograms
It is possible to print partial or full echograms with a pre-defined zoom level.
To print the echogram in view:
- Bring the echogram window into focus.
- On the File menu, click Print.
- On the Print Echogram dialog box, click Print Setup and select the orientation and printer.
- Click OK to close the Print Setup dialog and return to the Print Echogram dialog.
- Choose the Zoom level and pages to print.
- Click OK.
The EV filename, date and time of printing, and version of Echoview are automatically printed on echograms.
Notes:
- After entering a value for Pings/Page, pressing the Tab key will evaluate the actual Pings/Page value to use.
- Printing large echograms uses a lot of memory and may take some time.
- We highly recommend that a color printer is used for printing echograms. If you do wish to use a monochrome printer, we recommend you first change the color scheme used for the echogram to the "gray" color scheme. The color scheme setting can be changed on the Echogram Display page of the Variable Properties dialog.
- We recommend that you use a Landscape orientation for printing echograms. Echograms printed with a Portrait orientation will appear elongated in the vertical dimension.
- Export from echogram to a image file.
