Exporting single targets analyses

Single targets analysis by regions

To perform a single target analysis export for the analysis regions in a single targets echogram.

1. Choose the Analysis variables to export and the Output format on the Export page of the EV File Properties dialog box.

• If Spreadsheet format (single file) is selected as the Output format, the exports will contain single target analysis variables for each domain (e.g., Num_targets, TS_mean);
• If Spreadsheet format (multiple files) is selected as the Output format, the exports will contain analysis variables for each single target in each domain (e.g., TS_comp, Region_ID, Target_range).
2. Open (or click to bring into focus) the single targets echogram for the export.
1. Define the regions for the export and set the region type to analysis (use the Region Browser dialog box).
2. Ensure the region classes for your export are visible on the Regions page.
3. Configure the settings on the Analysis page.
3. On the Echogram menu, choose Export, Analysis by Regions and click Single Targets...
4. If the Export Single Target Data by Regions - Select Classes displays, choose the region class(es) to include in the export, then click Export...

The export is constrained to regions overlapping with any transects in an assigned transect group. Refer to Transects and export analyses for more details.

Overlapping regions are treated independently.

Single targets analysis by cells

To perform a single target analysis export for the cells in a single targets echogram.

1. Choose the Analysis variables to export the Output format, and configure the empty cell handling on the Export page of the EV File Properties dialog box.

2. Open (or click to bring into focus) the single targets echogram for the export.
1. Configure the cells by specifying the Show time/distance grid and Show depth/range/line-referenced on the Grid page.
2. Configure the settings on the Analysis page.
3. On the Echogram menu, choose Export, Analysis by Cells and click Single Targets...

The export is constrained to cells overlapping with any transects in an assigned transect group. Refer to Transects and export analyses for more details.

Single target analysis by regions by cells

To perform a single target analysis export for the cells of the analysis regions in a single targets echogram.

1. Choose the Analysis variables to export the Output format, and configure the empty cell handling on the Export page of the EV File Properties dialog box.

2. Open (or click to bring into focus) the single targets echogram for the export.

Single target analysis by transects

To perform an single target analysis export for the transect segments (in an assigned transect group) in a single targets echogram.

1. Choose the Analysis variables to export and the Output format on the Export page of the EV File Properties dialog box.

2. Open (or click to bring into focus) the single targets echogram for the export.
1. Configure the settings on the Analysis page.
3. Define transects in the assigned transect group for the echogram.
4. On the Echogram menu, choose Export, Analysis by Transects and click Single Targets...

The file contains includes these variables:

• Selected Export variables
• Transect_ID
• Transect_name
• Transect_date_S
• Transect_time_S
• Transect_date_E
• Transect_time_E
• Transect_notes

Single target export file format (*.csv)

The single target analysis export output is a subset of Single target export file format (*.target.csv) and also includes:

• Region_bottom_altitude_max
• Region_bottom_altitude_mean
• Region_bottom_altitude_min
• Region_top_altitude_max
• Region_top_altitude_mean
• Region_top_altitude_min
